The Hammer is a performance shortboard designed by Luke Short for Noa Deane's power surfing, refined after Deane's early 2020 return from Hawaii. It suits good to great surf, performing best on waves that allow time to open up on rail. LSD recommends ordering it one to two inches longer and slightly narrower than a standard shortboard. Team riders including Creed McTaggart and Kai McKenzie also ride the model, using it for rail surfing and airs.
