The Ghost Pro is a high-performance shortboard from Pyzel, described as a slimmed-down dimensions version of the design John John Florence rode to two consecutive World Titles. It is built with the wide point pushed slightly forward of center, a lowered nose area, and a slightly pulled-in tail for tighter turning. Thickness is distributed further forward to aid paddling and wave entry, while the tail and rails are thinned out for control in barrels and high-speed turns. Rocker is medium/low through the front half for easy paddling and speed, with more curve through the tail for turning response. The bottom uses a single concave running the length of the board with a double concave set inside it. It is offered in Thruster, Quad, and 5-fin setups, spans roughly 5'7" to 7'0" (22.2L to 40.15L), and is rated for waves from about 2 to 12 feet. Originally designed for hollow, powerful waves, it has also been used at reef breaks, beachbreaks, and points, and is presented as suitable for surfers of varying skill levels.
