The Comp Gun is a quad-fin big-wave gun built by Stretch Boards, with a design lineage tracing to the 9'4" bat-tail quad Anthony Tashnick rode to victory at Mavericks in 2005. It features a fuller, curvier outline with the wide point set dead center for paddle power, reverse vee bottom contours for control at speed, and a thin tail for responsiveness on rough faces. It is used on the Big Wave World Tour, including by Nic Lamb, for charging large, powerful surf.
