The Rising Sun is a high-performance shortboard with a wide point pushed up the outline, a full double-wing rounded squash tail, and a flat deck that tapers into a semi down rail. The bottom features a slight double concave running to vee off the tail, with a medium entry rocker and slight tail kick. It is designed to generate speed through turns and is ridden as a tri-fin setup with larger side fins and a small trailer fin.
