The Groove is a high-performance thruster shortboard shaped by Rob Machado, built with Firewire's Helium Core (stringerless EPS with Paulownia/Balsa rails) and fiberglass lamination. It has a squash tail, added rocker, and a wider, thicker front for paddle power. Designed for waist-high to overhead waves with push and power, though usable in weaker surf. Rides as a thruster or quad.
